About the Author
Daryl Lim Wei Jie is a poet, editor and translator from Singapore. His latest collection of poetry, Anything but Human (2021), was a finalist for the 2022 Singapore Literature Prize. He conceptualised and co-edited the anthologies Food Republic: A Singapore Literary Banquet (2020) and The Second Link: An Anthology of Malaysian and Singaporean Writing (2023). In 2023, he received the Young Artist Award, Singapore's highest honour for young art practitioners.
About the Translator
Ang Lai Sheng is a Singaporean writer, poet, translator, publisher, and columnist. He graduated from Nanyang Technological University (B.A. in Chinese Studies) and is currently the CEO and Editor-in-Chief of TrendLit Publishing. His literary works and criticism have appeared in newspapers and journals across Singapore, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
In 2023, Ang was awarded the NTU School of Humanities "SoH Alumni Award", recognising his outstanding contributions to Singapore literature and publishing. He was invited as the writer-in-residence for the Ministry of Education (Singapore), Chinese Language Elective Programme (Secondary) Literary Camp in 2022 and 2025, and was invited as a panellist at Frankfurt Book Fair in 2024, where he shared on Singapore literature and queer writing.
Ang's poetry collections include After Commotion (2014) and Destroy All Gods (2016). He also founded literary journal WhyNot (2013–2018), and has edited several anthologies, including In the Space of a Poem (Vol. 1 & 2, 2016 & 2017), Never Before - 50 Essential Poems (2018), and the prose collections Streets & Places of Singapore (2022 & 2025), as well as the public policy anthology Impressions of Singapore (2023). Ang is also an active translator. In 2025, he translated The Great Reset by Young Artist Award winner Daryl Lim Wei Jie and co-translated Kelly Tay’s English children’s picture book The World May Say This, But I Believe That! (2025).

林偉傑（1990-），著有詩集《易之書》（A Book of Changes, 2016）與《除了人》（Anything but Human, 2021），後者入圍了2022年新加坡文學獎。林作為《美食共和國：新加坡文學的饗宴》（Food Republic: A Singapore Literary Banquet, 2020）的編輯，贏得了2023年「美食家世界餐飲書獎」（Gourmand World Cookbook Awards）；《第二通道：新馬作家文集》（The Second Link: An Anthology of Malaysian & Singaporean Writing 2023），收錄了新加坡與馬來西亞兩國獨有情誼與關係的文集，也入圍了「新加坡書籍獎」（Singapore Book Awards）的「最佳文學作品」（Best Literary Work）組別。於此同時，林也譯有新加坡華文詩人黃文傑的短詩集《Short Tongue 短舌》（2023）；同年，他榮獲了青年文藝實踐者的最高榮譽，新加坡「青年藝術家獎」（Young Artist Award）。
譯者簡介
汪來昇，新加坡作家、詩人、譯者、出版人及專欄作家，畢業於新加坡南洋理工大學中文系，現任新文潮出版社社長兼總編輯；其文學作品與評論散見於新馬、中港台等地的報刊和文學期刊。
汪來昇於2023年榮獲南洋理工大學頒發的「人文學院傑出院友獎」（NTU SoH Alumni Awards），加以表彰他為新加坡文學與出版事業的傑出貢獻；2022年與2025年，他受邀擔任新加坡教育部中學語文特選課程寫作營駐營作家，致力於文學創作人才的培養與教育；2024年，於法蘭克福書展受邀為講座講者，分享新加坡文學發展與同志文學。
汪來昇著有詩集《喧囂過後》（2014）、《消滅眾神》（2016）；曾創辦文學雜誌《WhyNot 不為什麼》（共七期，2013-2018）；編有詩選集《一首詩的時間》（兩輯，2016、2017）、《不可預期》（2018）；文集《我獅城，我街道》（兩輯，2022、2025）；公共政策文集《觀感獅城》（2023）。此外，他還積極涉足翻譯領域，譯有2023年新加坡青年藝術家獎得主林偉傑英文詩集《大重啟》（2025）；合譯了鄭綺文的英文兒童繪本《別人可能會這樣說，但我認為……》（2025）。
